Air Conditioning
All cabins and public rooms on board are fully air-conditioned. The temperature in the cabins can be regulated individually by the passengers.
Bar
There is at least one bar on each vessel. Weather permitting, drinks may also be served on the Sun Deck. Please note that alcoholic beverages may not be brought on board for consumption.
Bathrobes
Bathrobes w ill be provided free of charge upon request. Please contact your cabin stewardess.
Boutique
Each vessel has a boutique. You will be able to purchase accessories, perfume, suntan lotion, film and many other everyday articles.
Cabin Furnishing
All cabins are equipped with a television, radio, large built-in closets as well as hairdryer and telephone. Many vessels feature mini bars in the cabins.
Cabin Key
When you leave the cabin, please lock the door and take the key with you. If you go ashore, please leave your key at the reception.
Cabin Service
If you wish to have breakfast in your cabin, be sure to place the order card outside of your cabin door the night before.
Clothing
Clothing can be casual and comfortable during the day and during shore excursions. In the evening, dress is semi formal (shirt and tie for the man, casual elegance for the lady). On two formal nights dark suit and cocktail dresses are recommended. You will find further information on this subject in the daily program.
Cruise Hostess and Host
The on board cruise host or hostess may be reached through the reception. See your daily program for the exact schedule.
Currency
The currency on board is the Euro. Traveler's checks, US Dollars and Eurocheques will also be accepted for settlement of your final account, as well as the following credit cards: American Express, Diners Club, Eurocard/MasterCard and Visa.. From the beginning of the cruise until the day before the cruise ends, you may sign guest receipts for all purchases except boutique purchases. The guest charges have to be paid on the last day at the reception.
Daily Program
You will find the program for the following day in your cabin each evening. It will tell you, among other things, about events, dress recommendations, departure times for shore excursions, as well as arrival and departure times at ports of call.
Deck Chairs
Chairs, cushions and blankets are provided free of charge.
Dietary Requirements
Please inform the company of your dietary requests in writing prior to your cruise and contact the Maître d' upon embarkation.
Duty Free Beverages
Please note, that duty free liquor will be for sale on the last cruise-day.
Electricity
220 Volt AC, 50 Hz. The bathrooms have outlets with 220 V and 50 Hz which can be used for electric razors. A hairdryer is installed in the bathroom. The cabins are equipped with additional outlets. If you wish to use 110 V equipment, a limited number of transformers are available at the reception. Please remember to return the borrowed items before you leave the ship.
Entertainment
Dancing and varied entertainment as well as music recitals will be offered daily in the lounge.
Exchange
Currencies can be exchanged at the reception. Eurocheques and traveller's cheques can also be cashed.
Games
Games are available in the library.
Hairdresser
The opening hours will be posted in the daily program. Please make your appointments early in advance.
Indoor Pool
The Mozart, features an indoor heated pool.
Language
Both English and German are spoken on board.
Laundry
Laundry and iron services are available on board (no dry cleaning). The price list is located in your cabin. Additional information can be obtained from your cabin stewardess.
Library
Please return all borrowed books on the last day of the cruise.
Lost and Found
Found items are held at the reception.
Mail
Mail can be deposited at Reception and will be posted at the next port of call.
Meals
Dining on board is single seating for all passengers. Please see the daily program for exact meal times.
Medical Care
A ship's doctor is available at all times; infirmary times can be found in the daily program. In case of an emergency, please call the reception. Treatments are subject to fees and will be charged according to German standards. Passengers under a doctor's care or with pre-existing conditions (e. g. diabetics) are requested to inform the company in writing prior to the cruise and to register with the doctor upon embarkation. If you are taking special medication, please make sure you have a supply with you. Should illness occur during the voyage, please consult the doctor on board. A spare pair of glasses is recommended for persons who require visual aids.
Minibar
Minibars are located in cabins aboard the Mozart and Konigstein. A minibar price list will be in your cabin. Please note your consumption on this list daily. The minibar will be replenished daily. You may ask for bottles to be served in your cabin. Please note that alcoholic beverages may not be brought on board for consumption.
On Board Payment System
A guest credit check will be presented to you for signature for all personal expenditure. You will settle thefinal account on the last day of the cruise. A separate invoice will be issued for shopping at the ship's boutique.
Radioprogram
Various radio channels can be received in the cabins.
Reception
It is open 24 hours a day during the cruise and can be reached by phone on ext. 9.
Safe Deposit Boxes
The company will accept no liability for articles of value. Safe deposit boxes are available free of charge at Reception
Shore Excursions
Shore excursions are offered for almost all ports of call. All excursions can only be booked on board on the first day of the cruise.
Smoking
Out of consideration for all guests, there is no smoking in the dining area.
Table Reservations
The restaurant accommodates all passengers at one sitting. Table reservations should be made upon embarkation and will be taken by the Maître d'.
Telephone
There is a telephone in each cabin for intra-vessel calls. You can make internal calls within the ship using the directory. You can also make calls worldwide via satellite. The person on duty at the reception will provide the necessary connections.
Television Program
Televisions are available on most vessels. A television program is offered with up to 4 channels depending on the location of the vessel. Information regarding the current TV and video program can be found in the daily program. The reception of satellite programs is only possible while the vessel is docked.
Tips
In accordance with international standards, it is customary to tip service staff. The amount is, of course, left up to each passenger's discretion and should show appreciation of a job well done. For budgeting purposes you might consider an amount of $10-12 per passenger per day.
Wake-up Service
Please inform the reception if you need a wake up call.
